We are looking for a Quality Co-ordinator to join our Quality team in Hartlepool. As Quality Co-ordinator you will be responsible for ensuring that JDR confirms with the requirements within ISO 9001 covering equipment calibrations, internal and external audits, customer satisfaction and maintaining the document control requirements.

Reporting into the Senior Quality Engineer you will:


  • Carry out internal audits in an accordance with ISO 9001 in all departments and ensure that the internal audit program is delivered in line with the schedule.
  • Maintain audit requirements to ensure compliance with ISO 9001
  • Arrange audit follow up meetings (when applicable) to ensure any findings are dealt with effectively
  • Conduct internal training for new and existing personnel based on audits and the requirements of ISO 9001
  • Prepare information for Quality Management Review meetings
  • Maintain the calibration requirements for all site equipment ensuring full compliance with ISO 9001
  • Ensure that the calibration register is fully maintained and up to date at all times
  • Assist with maintaining our QMS in accordance with ISO 9001 including the document control system.
  • Demonstrate through KPI’S that calibrations, documentation, audits and customer satisfaction are effective
  • Maintain the customer satisfaction system, ensuring all feedback is captured in a central database and analysed to identify areas for improvement

You should have proven experience in a similar role, or have experience in production engineering. You should ideally have hands-on experience of umbilical/cable manufacturing. You should have excellent communication skills and a solid working knowledge of MS Office. Previous experience in Continuous Improvement is desirable but not essential.

We operate a hybrid working approach where you will be required to work a minimum of three days a week on site and the other two days a week from home if you wish.
