Summary

Nettex, a trading division of Rumenco, researches, develops and manufactures a range of innovative solutions for animal nutrition and husbandry, which are supplied into both veterinary and agricultural markets. Areas of expertise include: livestock, equestrian, poultry and domestic pets.
We currently have a vacancy for a Quality Associate at our Lichfield production facility. The quality standards currently in place at this facility are UFAS (Universal Feed Assurance Scheme), cGMP and ISO9001:2015.
The main responsibilities of this role will include:
  • Maintenance of the HACCP study and document controls
  • Conducting HACCP study and Quality Management System (QMS) internal audits
  • Batch documentation reviews and finished product release
  • Support intake and in process quality control
  • Standard operating procedure and quality instruction writing, checking, testing and record keeping
  • Provide training and monitor critical aspects of the QMS to ensure compliance with documented procedures
  • Conducting quality-based projects and systems improvement initiatives
  • Participation in product complaints investigation and product recalls
The successful candidate will have:
  • Experience of working within a quality systems environment in the feed or food industry (minimum 3 years)
  • HACCP Level 3 preferred
  • Working knowledge of cGMP and/or ISO9001:2015 an advantage
  • Ability to prioritise workload effectively and meet deadlines
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent numeracy and computer literacy
