WiganQualified Social Worker – Duty Team£40 per hourWigan are looking for a Qualified Social Worker for their Duty Team, with 2 years duty experience. Do you have the skills to work in a fast-paced Duty Team? Can you analyse risk in child protection and to plan appropriate interventions?Are you the type of person that wants to make a difference?Role:

  • You will be working within a fast-paced Duty team.
  • Holding varying complexity of cases whilst being able to transfer work quickly once a plan has been identified.
  • Manage and conduct a range of assessments, planning, delivery of interventions and reviewing the impact and progress of outcome for children open to social care services.
  • Ensure the right interventions are in place for children and their families and that children are protected from harm.
  • Knowledge of children’s services legislative frameworks and legal proceedings
  • Ensure the delivery of high quality and effective social work practice.
