We are seeking a QHSE Manager to be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of our organisation’s quality assurance, health and safety, and environmental management programs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in QHSE practices, regulations, and standards, along with excellent leadership and communication skills.

  • Maintain and develop our QMS (ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001) making it accurate, accessible and a tool to support the business
  • To implement and maintain any other relevant accreditations
  • Oversight of Customer Product Quality Questionnaires & Inspection Test Plans
  • Oversight of calibrated equipment maintenance
  • Drive the use of data collection & root cause analysis to produce information leading to improvements in operational processes
  • Identify, or deliver, training and coaching to employees across the organisation
  • Develop and imbed visual management systems
  • Improve customer satisfaction particularly with respect to delivery, quality & cost
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve the organisation’s QHSE management systems, policies, and procedures in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead incident and near-miss investigations, ensuring that root causes are identified, corrective actions are taken, and lessons learned are communicated throughout Coopers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that quality standards are met throughout the product lifecycle, from design and manufacturing to delivery and customer support.
  • Ownership of the Companies waste and work to a reduce waste to landfill
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with QHSE regulations and internal standards. Provide guidance and support to address any non-compliance issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant industry regulations, standards, and best practices, and ensure that the organization remains in compliance with these requirements.
  • Analyse QHSE data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement. Generate reports for management review and develop action plans accordingly.
  • Engage with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, customers, suppliers, and auditors, to ensure effective communication and alignment on QHSE matters.

Essential

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in leading transformational change
  • Experience of managing either ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001
  • Experience of coaching, mentoring and training
Desirable

  • Lead Auditor ISO9001:2015
  • Experience of bespoke / Engineer-to-Order manufacturing / Construction
  • Microsoft Dynamics
  • Data manipulation/analysis skills (Advanced Excel, Access, PowerBI, SQL)
  • ERP implementation experience
