Leading Pharmaceutical Development and Manufacturing Company based in Northumberland seeks an experienced QA Projects Lead. About the role: To lead and control activities of the QA Projects team.The role is the link between QA and Alliance Management; being the key point of contact for any quality related issues relating to the project’s portfolio.Manages a team of Quality Assurance Officers who provide quality support to all projects (development, technical transfer, clinical trial services and Project Agile) at the Morpeth site. It is therefore imperative that the individual establishes a collaborative working relationship between the functions, including effective communication and listening skills. The role is customer facing and the holder is required to act as Quality representative to external clients.Duties may include: Lead a team of Quality Assurance Officers to provide quality support to the Alliance Management department for all projects at the Morpeth site (development, technical transfer, clinical trial services and Project Agile). Line management responsibilities of team of QAOs such as conducting performance reviews, allocating KRAs, approving annual leave, conducting 1:1s, return to work interviews and general line management responsibilities as appropriate. Responsible for workload allocation, cross-training and continuous improvement projects. Primary contact and oversight of all projects in the Alliance Management portfolio. Allocates a dedicated representative from the team to each project to attend customer calls, work with the PM in managing the project and provide excellent customer service. Is the quality representative for a number of projects from the portfolio. Manages the relationship for Project Agile between Morpeth (MAH), Piramal Established Products, Pithampur (manufacturing site) and the US Marketing Partners. Includes batch review, authorisation of deviations and change controls and permissions to ship product. Liaises with customers in matters pertaining to Quality. Provides support for Packaging department when required.Skills and experience: Experience in the pharmaceutical industry (Quality and/or Production roles) Proven understanding in GMP and Pharmaceutical Quality Systems QP Module in IMPs University Degree in a science related subject is preferred for this role, but not essential.Apply now or for more information call us
