Job Role; Purchasing Manager

Location; Heywood - on site car parking

Salary; c 35,ooo plus benefits package

Consultants; Louise O’Brien and Karen Reynolds

With our Client we are looking to appoint an experienced Purchasing Manager - who will lead and oversee all aspects of purchasing and negotiations with Suppliers

Reporting directly the MD - this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious / energetic character to join this business and perhaps head to being a Director in the future.

To have the experience / gravitas to fill the Purchasing Manager role you will need to have c 5 years experience and a proven track record of cost / negotiation and Supplier relationship management. The Purchasing Manager will also include;
  • Lead and oversee all aspects of Purchasing, Negotiations and Supplier management
  • Effective coordination with the Procurement / Purchasing team
  • Develop, implement and maintain Procurement policies and complete regular reviews
Our Clients works across SAP - SA / HANA and Excel - experience of an ERP system is also essential.
