Signature Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for an exciting team in North Somerset within the IT sector. We are looking for a Purchasing Assistant to help within a fast paced team. If you have experience in customer service and raising Purchase Orders or within Purchasing itself and are looking for the next step this could be the right role for you.

This role includes the following responsibilities:

- The raising of Purchase Orders in response to requests raised throughout the organisation from the Head of Commercial Operations and Supply Chain Manager. This includes core hardware, IT supplies, labour, office expenses etc.

- Co-ordinating transactions with Suppliers and Project Managers, ensuring timelines are understood and deadlines are met.

- Investigating choices of suppliers for non-standard products requested by the business.

- Making Supply Chain Manager aware of any issues in meeting deadlines by Suppliers

- Providing cover for Warehouse Operations as and when necessary.

This is a full time (Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours) permanent position and is offering £20,000 to £26,000 per annum depending on experience.
