Are you a strong Administrator looking for a new opportunity to develop your skills in a purchasing department?

My client is looking for an enthusiastic Purchasing Administrator to join their team at a time of growth. This is a temporary vacancy with the potential for a permanent opportunity for the right candidate. You will be resposible for contacting suppliers in regards to orders and shipments and supporting the administrative tasks of the purchasing team. This is a fantastic development opportunity for someone who has an interest in purchasing / buying.

Purchasing Administrator
Temporary with potential permanent vacancy
£10.40 - £11.00 per hour
Redditch
Monday to Friday
9am - 5:30pm

Duties for the Purchasing Administrator:
    Contacting suppliers regularly by telephone and email to ensure delivery dates are hit
    Chasing suppliers who are in arrears for new acknowledged dates
    Processing purchase orders
    Order requisition entry and sending off to suppliers
    Scanning delivery notes and test certs into System
    Liasing with suppliers to ensure correct stock levels are maintained.
    Updating prices and information where required
    General data processing and updating systems, supporting the purchasing team.

Requirements:
    Prior Administration experience
    Purchasing experience would be very beneficial
    Excellent communication skills – verbally & written
    Computer literate – use of systems
    Attention to detail
