We are recruiting a full-time and permanent Purchase Ledger Clerk working 8.30 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday, to join our team at an exciting time in our journey. The job

  • Entry and reconciliation of ledgers
  • Code, match and input stock and non-stock supplier invoices
  • Process intercompany invoices
  • Reconciliation of suppliers’ monthly statements and internal expenses
  • Resolve queries from suppliers and other departments
  • Payment runs
  • Assist with month-end/year end accounts and procedures
  • Supply of audit information
  • Support with ad hoc finance tasks

What are we looking for? As you can imagine, you’ll need a broad range of personal skills to succeed, but we don’t expect you to have everything from the start! We will coach, train and support you, it’s more important that you have the right interpersonal skills and the intelligence to grasp our business and take us forward.

We will be looking for:

  • Experience in a finance role in a fast-paced environment with high volumes
  • Great communications skills/ability to relay key information to colleagues
  • Proficiency in MS Excel at intermediate to advanced level
  • A proactive attitude to work
  • The ability to work to strict deadlines and the willingness to work additional hours if needed (time to be taken back in lieu)
  • A firm but fair approach to dealing with colleagues and their expenses
  • Attention to detail
  • A team player
