Job Profile

Field Service Engineer required for our client, a leading multi-national HVAC manufacturer with over 100 years’ experience in the pumps and valves industry. Our client is one of the most well-known companies within the pumps and valves industry, and specialises in the design, installation, servicing, and maintenance of a wide range of products for the building services and larger heavy industrial industries.

Due to expansion, our client is looking for experienced Field Service Engineer’s across the UK who have a background in the servicing and maintenance of large industrial pumps such as boiler feed units, centrifugal pumps, multi-stage pumps, refinery pumps, and positive displacement pumps.

The role will involve travelling across the UK and working in setting such as industrial power stations and car manufacturing plants, and will include completing pump overhauls, re-installations, equipment inspections, bearing/seal changes, and other varied tasks related to the repair and maintenance of industrial pump equipment.

The ideal location for the successful Field Service Engineer would be within the following locations, but anywhere within the UK will be considered - South West (Bristol), Midlands, Humberside, and North West.

Field Service Engineer Position Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years’ experience completing servicing and maintenance on industrial-sized pumps
  • Experience with multi-tonne boiler feed pumps highly desirable
  • Happy to travel nationwide and stay away at times - ideally based in any of the following locations - South West, Midlands, Humberside, North West
  • CSCS card and Confined Spaces ticket holder ideally, but these will be provided if they aren’t already held
  • Electrical and/or Mechanical qualifications desirable
  • Full UK driving licence

Field Service Engineer Position Remuneration

  • Salary negotiable, depending on experience
  • Company van provided
  • Door to door travel paid
  • 45 hour working week
  • 33 day’s holiday (25 days + bank holidays)
  • 8% company pension contribution
  • Other benefits including long-term sickness pay and healthcare included
