Are you a Graduate who has a keen interest in supporting students with Special Educational Needs?Do you have experience assisting individuals with Autism and complex social and emotional needs?Teaching Personnel have a great opportunity for passionate and dedicated Psychology Graduates to work in wonderful SEN specialist schools located around Louth, Lincolnshire. Our schools create a happy and secure learning environment where all students’ needs are met and where achievements along with successes are recognised and praised!All staff are highly ambitious; therefore, we are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting their students and ensure every student reaches their full potential by having high expectations for all.This is a Full time and term-time only role (Monday - Friday) however part-time candidates will also be considered.Job Specification
  • Hold/Predicted a degree (2:2 or above)
  • Previous experience working with young people with learning difficulties or social, emotional and mental health (preferred but not essential)
  • Be passionate about supporting children with their learning
  • Be enthusiastic, friendly and confident with supporting those with complex needs
  • Have a commitment to inclusion and equal opportunities
Key Responsibilities Within The Role
  • Attend to the social, sensory, emotional and behavioural needs of young children with Autism and complex disabilities
  • Providing support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities
  • Building and maintaining successful relationships with students, whilst treating them with respect and consideration
  • Have the highest expectation that every student will make sustained academic and personal progress
  • Ensure that every pupil is ready for the next steps in their learning and is supported to participate and contribute to the class
