Job ProfileProposals / Sales Engineer required. Our client is a well-established and growing manufacturer and installer of heavy plant equipment based in the Kidderminster area. Due to ongoing success, they are seeking an enthusiastic Proposals to join the team.The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business enquiries and producing detailed quotations for customers.Proposals / Sales Engineer Position Overview
  • Producing and submitting budgets and formal quotations
  • Creating bill of materials, labour hire plans and logistics cost sheets.
  • Working within the sales team to manage existing accounts and assist with new business development activities
  • Reading and understanding 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings
  • Updating and maintain the CRM & ERP systems
  • Working with the company’s marketing department to ensure efficient content
  • Providing support on the products and solutions to customers
  • Assisting with the aftersales queries from customers
Proposals / Sales Engineer Position Requirements
  • Experience working in a commercial role, within a manufacturing environment such as plant equipment, fabrication, precision engineering or machinery
  • Experience creating Bill of Materials
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Based in a commutable distance of Kidderminster
Proposals / Sales Engineer Position Remuneration
  • Salary £30,000
  • Monday to Friday, minimum of 35 hour working week with some flexibility required to fulfil the role.
  • Holiday allowance starting at 20 days plus bank holiday. Increasing with tenure up to 28 days.
