Who are we:
Jigsaw Recovery Project work with some of the most disadvantaged children and young people in society. Many of the young people that we work with are nearing the end of their journey through the care system and have experienced multiple failed placements. Our aim is to recognise the complexity of need that people can have and to develop bespoke support packages that focus on making positive progress whilst still celebrating individuality.

Role Purpose:
We offer shelter and support to young people between the ages of 16 and 18 through our youth programmes. It will be expected of the team to adhere to local Pathway procedures as well as the policy and procedural framework. As a member of the team, you will offer the youth a person-focused, adaptable, and responsive service.

Project Workers will oversee a caseload, for whom they will do a thorough Needs and Risk Assessment, leading to the creation of a Support Plan that has been mutually agreed upon. In addition to encouraging independence, the strategy will get young people ready for a smooth transition into independent living or the Young People Pathway plan.

In addition to providing support to the young people we house, under the supervision of the Area Manager and Accommodation Manager, project workers will also be expected to take the lead on an area of responsibility across the provisions in either:

Adolescent Mental Health

Offending

Substance use

Activities Development (Employment & Training)

What we would like from you:

  • Level 2 Health and Social Care
  • 12 months experience working with children
  • Knowledge of creating/updating support plans and risk assessments
  • Driving license and access to own vehicle
  • Computer literate

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £26,500.00 per year
