Project Officer (Fixed Term or Secondment until 28 June 2024) 37.5 hours Salary £31,099 - £35,411 per annumCounty Hall, DorchesterWhat’s In It For YouDorset Integrated Care system are seeking a Project Officer for an exciting new work stream.The role will support the delivery of the national Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training (OMMT) across the Dorset Integrated Care System (ICS).We are looking for a dynamic individual with demonstrable experience of supporting complex projects to tight deadlines, who is also comfortable working with financial information, have some understanding of training or educational provision and be able to work collaboratively across organisations to support the delivery of workable s o lutions. Whilst needing to have a strategic perspective, this is also a hands-on role, and you’ll need to be comfortable working with detail and helping develop and then support the implementation of processes and training arrangements.This is a fantastic opportunity to be supporting this interesting and worthwhile project, establishing new training arrangements which will make a direct contribution to improved patient/client/service user care.What You Can Expect To Be DoingThe OMMT Project Officer will work across the Dorset ICS footprint, supporting the full roll out of the OMMT programme, supporting providers to deliver this training to all of their staff within the required time frame.Given the breadth and scope of the role that the post holder will work as an integral member of the wider system team ensuring the OMMT is integrated into the wider work around the Learning Disability and Autism portfolio, ensuring that this cuts across all service areas and providers. They will work collaboratively with various provider organisation training leads to develop a strategy for OMMT rollout within ICS.The post holder will be provide support for the day-to-day management of the programme; starting up, implementing and delivery, supporting, facilitating, monitoring progress and evaluating the project. This will support a variety of work streams to ensure that the project is delivered to agreed expectations, on time and within budget.As the OMMT process is in its early stages, the postholder will be key to support the designing, implementing, delivering, and monitoring this extensive programme, which will impact every member of staff within the ICS footprint. They will also be required to support the review and implementation of immediate improvements that are identified whilst supporting longer term training requirements for the IICS, including any processes and subsequent projects that are developed as a result.This post would be hosted by Dorset Council in an established programme management team on behalf of Dorset Integrated Care Board.
