KS2 Teacher (Fixed-Term)Teacher Main Pay Scale, Point Range 1-6Annual Salary FTE £28,000 - £38,810Start date: 1st September 2023 until 31st August 2024St Michael’s Middle School is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, talented class teacher to provide engaging and inspiring lessons in KS2 on a 1 year fixed-term contract. You will join a dedicated, supportive, friendly team in order to continue our school’s drive for excellence.This is a very exciting time to join St Michael’s as it continues its journey as a founding member of Initio Learning Trust. Not only will the successful candidate be joining an ambitious school which wants to do the very best for its students - there are also likely to be plenty of opportunities to sharpen your professional skills with peer to peer support and challenge through the Trust. We are delighted that we have been able to support personal ambitions by regularly promoting or seconding staff to the work of the Trust.As part of this role we are looking for staff who can develop strong positive relationships with students from which pupils in their class can build pro-social behaviours including good attendance, kindness, good reading habits, the ability to deal with setbacks and display our core values of Aspiration, Belief and Creativity.
