NATIONAL TRUSTWe’re looking for a new Project Manager to lead our nature ambition for lowland peatland restoration at National Trust’s first nature reserve, Wicken Fen. We’re working collaboratively to build an improved landscape for wildlife and people by halting and reversing nature loss and locking in carbon too.This is a new a post coming in at an exciting time to manage the delivery of a project which will protect peat across three key areas as well as working with the wider partnership to build opportunities for further lowland peatland restoration on land that we look after and in the wider region.This is a two-year opportunity to deliver a key peatland restoration project on site and represent our vision in an established and successful partnership across the wider landscape.You will be responsible for the full implementation of designed schemes at Wicken, ensuring program is delivered on time, to specification and within the grant funders time frames. The designed schemes vary in detail but are primarily bank repairs, bunding and sluicing options to be delivered by external construction contractors.Partnership is at the heart of our work and there is a need to uphold good working relationships with a range of landowners, partners, and statutory agencies and other teams.We’ll shortlist against the following criteria:

• Experience of the environmental sector and habitat restoration programs / nature recovery
• Experience of successfully delivering complex end to end project management, including defining resources, leading procurement, managing multiple contractors and reporting
• You will hold a recognised Project (APM PMQ /Prince or similar) or programme Management (MSP) qualification, or you will be able to demonstrate significant project management skills
• Evidence of ongoing CPD in your career to date
• Strong problem solving and influencing skills, able to confidently work with the property team and senior leaders
• Experience of managing complex external partner relationships
