Job DescriptionProject Manager / Project Leader / Project Engineerrequired to join a leading manufacturer / Distributor within the Hydraulic industry.

The successful Project Manager / Project Leader / Project Engineer will manage Hydraulic projects from inception through to final completion.

The Project Manager / Project Leader / Project Engineer will ideally have an Electro- Mechanical background in project management, ideally within Hydraulics and Fluid Power. A technical electrical qualification such as 18th edition is desirable with experience.

Project Manager / Project Leader / Project Engineer Role

  • Managing engineering projects with Hydraulics, transmission systems and cylinders from hand over through to final completion.
  • Responsible for the project management on various Hydraulic Presses, Cylinders, pumps, motors, accumulators, transmission systems and Power Packs.
  • The Project Manager will own the entire Project delivery relationship with important clients and through high level, highly proactive engagement will be constantly alert to opportunities to develop, improve and maintain that relationship.
  • Reporting to the Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for the delivery for installation of Hydraulics Presses, Cylinders, valves, motors, Power Packs, actuators or similar .
  • Managing the Project timelines for products, services, documentation, and quality to achieve on time completion.
  • Perform consulting services at customer sites as well as over the phone.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.

Project Manager / Electrical Project Manager / Project Engineer Requirements

  • Proven hydraulic industry experience required.
  • Detailed knowledge of Hydraulics, Cylinders, pumps, motors, accumulators, transmission systems, Power Packs or similar engineering products.
  • Experience as a Project Manager, Project Engineer, Product Manager, Programme Manager, Applications Engineer, Project Leader, Project Manager, Compressed Air Engineer or similar within the Hydraulics industry.
  • 18th Edition Electrical qualification is favourable.
  • Willing to commute to Liverpool
  • Full UK driving license.
