We are currently supporting a well-established, innovative company who are seeking an experiencedProject Manager, based inWetherby, UK. As a Project Manager you will manage all aspects of the company’s projects in relation to pool design and installation. You will be responsible for the full end-to end project lifecycle, taking into consideration customer requirements and commercial business sense.

Key responsibilities and duties of this role...
  • Manage multiple pool projects at various stages, ranging from £100k - £500k
  • Ensure all pool projects are installed to the design agreed with the client
  • Ensure all pool projects are completed within the agreed budget and deadline
  • Report any project issues to the necessary stakeholders and provide solutions
  • Attend weekly project management meetings to provide an update on assigned projects and any issues encountered
  • Assisting with project costings and project proposals where required, including supplier liaison and negotiations
  • Work closely with sub contractors, architects and site managers to ensure smooth delivery of projects
  • Create and manage design packages for projects using 2D CAD programs
  • Create schematic drawings in relation to specific projects when required
  • Assist with other projects as required (dependent on workload)
  • Ensure Health & Safety legislations are adhered to at all times and conduct risk assessments accordingly
  • Manage full logistics of installations
  • Travel to sites Nationally (could be 2-3 days a week out of the office - depending on workload)
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following skills, attributes and qualifications...
  • Project Management Experience is essential
  • A good attitude is essential, with excellent people skills
  • Experience working within thepool industry is desirable, (swimming pools / jacuzzis / hot tubs / hydro-pools / spa pools) OR experience in an industry relating to water (pumps / HVAC / water engineering etc.)
  • M&E background desirable
  • Experience working in the domestic environment as a preference to commercial would be nice to have
  • Excellent client-facing, verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Hours:General hours 8am - 5pm OR 7am - 4pm (Mon - Friday) with a degree of flexibility - however there will be travel so flexibility is required

Benefits
  • Salary £50k - £60k (negotiable depending on experience)
