The purpose of this role is to provide project management and communications expertise to the development projects across the D4D consortium to ensure maximum operational efficiency in the selection and execution of high impact R&D projects.Specifically, The Role Will
  • Work closely with the D4D Programme Manager to identify and develop projects in accordance with the overarching aims of D4D
  • Liaise closely with the D4D Theme Leads and Project Leads to ensure effective execution and delivery of projects.
  • Work with the Theme Leads and the Programme Manager to create the required Theme Group and Networks and lead the ongoing liaison and engagement management of certain groups.
  • Provide project management support for the implementation of and ongoing operational management of the D4D portfolio.
  • Provide communications expertise across the D4D consortium, including responsibility for social media, website, newsletters and press releases.
  • To manage and develop projects relevant to the consortium
  • To contribute to the ongoing development of the consortium
  • To contribute to the ongoing development of current service improvement initiatives such as Patient and Public Involvement and building links with industry
  • To keep up-to-date with the national med tech environment to ensure the consortium remains at the forefront of changes and developments
  • Any other duties as may reasonably be required, consistent with the grade of the post.
  • To manage and develop the communications strategy, including responsibility for social media, website, newsletters and press releases.
This vacancy is advertised on a fixed term contract basis for a period of a maximum of twelve months due to maternity leave of the substantive post holder.
