Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Sr. Project Manager to manage and drive various work streams that support the growth and development of business-critical applications and functions within the NFP P&C corporate platforms. The role will be a liaison between the company’s corporate departments and IT in leading large onboardings of agencies onto the NFP Epic platform, continuous improvement and small change projects that drive efficiency, process improvement. Individuals applying for this position should be proven project managers who have worked on high scale software deployment, infrastructure, and onboarding projects. They will interact with all levels of our organisation and must possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Project Duties:

  • Understanding strategic plans, business, process, and architecture to influence the project execution.
  • Evaluate how system changes will affect workflow, data, and reporting
  • Working with the implementation partners, business & IT in optimizing, enhancing, unifying design
  • Research design issues as they arise and propose solutions
  • Risk mitigation

Requirements:

  • PM background specifically with software deployment, and infrastructure projects.
  • Extensive background with Agency Management Systems, preferably Epic or AMS360.
  • Solid business process skills, ability to think outside the box to deliver project objective.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Define project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Successfully deliver projects on-time, within scope and budget
  • Apply change management processes to project scope, schedule.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to monitor and track progress
  • Risk mitigation planning to minimize project impacts.
  • Assign project tasks based on individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Establish and maintain relationships with NFP teams, Stakeholders and third parties/vendors.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

Skills and Abilities

  • Bring proven project management methodology knowledge and processes to help educate the team and streamline workflows.
  • Solid understanding of software deployment concepts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be extremely organized, detail-oriented, meticulous, and responsible.
  • Should have methodical & creative thought processes.
  • Requires a unique combination of business acumen, technical expertise, leadership, and communications

Processes and Methodologies

  • Best Practices: a setting of guidelines, ethics, or ideas that represent the most efficient or prudent course of action in each business situation.
  • Critical Path: determined by identifying the longest stretch of dependent activities and measuring the time required to complete them from start to finish.
  • Risk Management: the identification, evaluation, and prioritization of risks followed by coordinated application to minimize, monitor, and control the probability or impact
  • Change Management: a systematic approach to dealing with the transition or transformation of an organization’s goals, processes, or technologies
  • Resource Allocation: the process of assigning and managing assets in a manner that supports an organization’s strategic goals
  • Waterfall, and Agile methodology.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Project Management experience. Preferably with at least one of the following types of proven large project experience. Including Software deployment, Software development, Infrastructure, Process Improvement, or ERP/CRM projects.
  • Proven working experience in project management
  • PMP
