As part of The Hut Group (THG), Acheson & Acheson Ltd offers a unique end-to-end service specialising in the development and supply of premium beauty and cosmetic products to highly respected brands and retailers on a global scale. We now have over 700 talented individuals working across our sites in Trowbridge and Frome – including a state-of-the-art laboratory and 78,000 square foot ever-growing manufacturing site!

Due to the continued growth and expansion within our business, we are looking for Project Managerswith previous FMCG product management experience to join our New Product Development team based at our Head Office in Trowbridge, Wiltshire. This is a fast-moving and demanding environment, with multiple new product launches occurring throughout the year.

Key aspects of the role: -
  • The effective progression of new product development and operational briefs from concept through to production, to meet agreed deadlines within set commercial targets.
  • Monitoring sales and stock of all lines in a portfolio to ensure effective brand maintenance for the company and the client.
  • Producing and managing critical path analyses for all projects, following agreement with other areas of the business and managing expectations.
  • Overseeing sourcing of packaging, materials and formulation development.
  • Feeding into conceptual development of NPD for existing brands and blue-sky development, identifying new opportunities for the business.
  • Preparing and presenting NPD, commercial and operational proposals to the customer. Attending meetings, supplier visits and prints runs when required.
  • Continually working to develop and maintain good working relationships throughout the business, with manufacturers and suppliers.
  • Ensuring team members are developed, motivated and working in an efficient and effective manner.

Requirements: -
  • Experience in a similar role - ideally within Beauty/Gifting/Food/other FMCG industry.
  • Excellent personal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Well organised and able to effectively prioritise a demanding workload.
  • Confident, positive and flexible approach to work.
  • Excellent project management skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong numerical ability and familiarity with the financial aspects of sales and brand management.
