YMCA Downs Link Group are seeking a Projects Manager to drive the continued success of two well-established and effective 24-hour supported accommodation services in Brighton and Hove.

Lansworth House and Gareth Stacey House offer high quality accommodation to 21 and 15 residents respectively, including large communal areas and garden spaces, providing opportunities for innovation in 1:1 support and group work activities.

Applicants must have experience of managing people within the context of supported accommodation and the ability to engage, motivate, inspire and empower teams to deliver safe and effective service.

Role Responsibilities

The Project Manager will work alongside the Head of Operations and an experienced Deputy Manager to ensure that the services continue to be:
  • Safe Well led Engaging Healthy Psychologically and Trauma informed
You will share line-management of the staff team alongside the Deputy manager, working flexibly with colleagues across medium and low supported services and in the development of new services, as required.

Key Requirements
  • Experience of managing supported accommodation, or similar services, and providing line-management support to team members, incl. facilitating effective supervision, performance reviews and appraisals.
  • Experience of managing contracts within the social/supported housing sector, completing internal and external reports to evidence qualitative and quantitative outcomes and leading services to achieve or exceed
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and commissioned objectives
  • Experience of coordinating and overseeing housing management tasks (contract compliance, voids, arrears management, income and expenditure), and health and safety-related tasks (fire, gas and water safety, buildings inspections, etc)
