Bouygues Energies & Services currently has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager (Defects & Lifecycle) to join our Facilities Management team based at the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford. This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.


The role:

  • Manage specific allocated legacy works projects and ensure their successful delivery to the relevant completion criteria (including time, cost and quality).
  • Review instructions against client expectations and where necessary assist or develop suitable solutions
  • Receive the initial brief and where necessary produce fully developed tendering instructions, to the client’s confirmed requirements. Carry out Tender process from Enquiry through Management to Tender Analysis and Sub-Trader Appointment Recommendation.
  • Ensure compliance with CDM regulations including formal appointment of roles
  • Working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday


The person:

  • Will be an experienced Project Manager with a demonstrable track record of successful project delivery in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, an analytical mind capable of understanding complex technical information, a high level of computer literacy and ability to use project management software
  • Strong knowledge of CDM requirements, relevant H&S certification (IOSH preferred) and experience of leading in H&S and welfare for construction projects
  • Must have strong commercial awareness with project pricing and cost control experience
  • Will have excellent customer relationship and interpersonal skills and ability to lead and influence in Client facing roles / stakeholder groups
  • Desirable to have experience in a PFI Healthcare environment
  • Formal Project Management qualification and relevant H&S certification (NEBOSH), SMSTS is desirable
  • Ability to develop strategies and organise tasks, work under pressure and make the hard decisions required to achieve project objectives
  • Experience in working with CAD and CAFM systems, asset databases etc. is preferred
