Bouygues Energies & Services currently has an exciting opportunity for an M&E Technician (Electrical Bias) to join our Facilities Management team based on our major hospital contract at the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford. This is a permanent full-time position working from 08:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday.


The role:

  • Reporting to the Self-Delivery Supervisor
  • To provide technical engineering support for the Hard FM Services department and carry out preventative maintenance to deadline plus maintain paperwork to support PPM activities
  • To respond to reactive and emergency faults and conduct reactive maintenance work to ensure compliance with KPI’s
  • To manage Contractors as necessary
  • Working 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday


The person:

  • Must hold a recognised advanced electrical trade apprenticeship and/or relevant qualifications to level 3 (theory and practice) in a relevant Electrical discipline with suitable industry experience.
  • Experience in building services is required
  • Willingness to attain cross skilling and to undertake training and qualify as an Authorised Person as required
  • IT Literate
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Demonstrate good planning, organising and prioritising skills
  • Ability to show examples of using initiative and judgement to resolve problems
  • Experience in a Healthcare environment is advantageous
  • Must have a good understanding of health and safety best practice; formal training an advantage.
