ROLE:Project Manager (Data Migration)

LOCATION:1 to 2 days per week in our Manchester office preferred

The Role

We are about to embark on a huge data migration project merging our flagship businesses onto the same booking platform.

Currently on two platforms, we are consolidating our inventory on to one platform and as the Project Manager you will work closely with internal stakeholders as well as our 3rd party platform supplier, to ensure that the data and inventory across our core business that is seamlessly integrated and fed correctly into our new APIs.

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for a highly organised Project Manager, with excellent data mapping and analytical skills to ensure that data is integrated in the correct way.

This role will see you working across our flagship brands in the UK and in Denmark Europe and it’s therefore key that you have great communication skills for liaising with multiple stakeholders ideally across different countries.

  • You’re not afraid to challenge the status quo to drive product and business value (seriously, we encourage it)
  • Experience in technology-focused business in a project management role
  • You can grasp business strategy and technology concepts. Experience of interpreting business needs and converting to requirements.
  • Great stakeholder management skills, including experience in dealing with remote colleagues, across business areas and levels.
  • You love research and have discovery skills including analysis, usage reporting, data modelling, and testing.
  • Collaboration is key, ability to take initiative whilst working collaboratively, a true team player with ’can do’ attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail, highly methodical mind-set, aptitude to propose solutions.
  • Natural curiosity about how things work and confidence with technical details.
  • Results and delivery focused with an eye for quality and reusability.
