PROJECT MANAGER – Beauty Sector

Our established and successful client are recruiting for a Project Manager with solid B2B experience or a manufacturing background. Beauty experience would be advantageous but not essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • To help manage projects to ensure these are delivered to customer requirements. The summary of duties will include requesting required information from clients, checking artworks and proofs, placing Purchase Orders with suppliers, managing global shipments, advising and updating clients on time frames.
  • Preparing and managing Excel Spreadsheets to record the progress of projects, checking and updating all project information, following up with clients and keeping them fully informed and updated on project status.
  • Liaising with freight forwarders, manufacturing facilities and global suppliers on a regular basis to manage the delivery of components for each project. Chasing up and recording the progress and following up on expected delivery times.
  • Booking in delivery of finished goods with client warehouses and where necessary preparing required paperwork such as delivery notes, packing lists and commercial invoices.
  • Preparing and sending various courier packages, to include material samples, mock-ups, proofs, compatibility or micro test results, and final product samples.
  • To build positive relationships with all clients, seeking opportunities to grow sales of existing or new product capabilities.
  • To build strong internal relationships across all departments
Hours Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. Holidays - 20 days plus statutory days and closure between Xmas and New Year. On-site parking. Must be a car driver due to the rural location.

Salary according to skills and knowledge - £25,000 to £35,000
