The Senior Preconstruction Engineer work with and supports the Preconstruction leaders in development of cost estimates and other preconstruction services to ensure Skanska is completing our services accurately, timely and cost effectively. The position works under direct supervision, performs daily estimating and planning activities and disseminates information applicable to the planning efforts. The Senior Preconstruction Engineer must be able to meet critical deadlines, accurately obtain quantities for building components and have the ability to work as part of a team.


Senior Preconstruction Engineer Required Qualifications:

      • 2+ years full time relevant industry experience
      • 1+ year demonstrated experience with commercial construction estimating and estimating software applications
      • Geometry - proficiency in measures of length, area and volume calculations.
      • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Excel, Microsoft Word, and Powerpoint
      • Bachelor’s Degree – Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or equivalent/applicable degree or equivalent experience and minimum 7 years prior relevant experience
