Job title:Project Engineer

Location:Washington, Tyne & Wear; We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £42,13

What you’ll be doing:

  • Ensure our business meets future demands, from advanced planning and scheduling to configuration capabilities, whilst enabling achievement of best in class levels of Operational Efficiency across the value streams within Land (UK)
  • Innovate and support in driving our current Connected Enterprise Solution (CES) strategy from an Operations view whilst fully interacting with our IT department
  • Create a hub of expertise and work closely with the business IT Systems Architecture team to ensure that critical processes, plant and equipment are flexible and aligned to future operational requirements
  • Supporting the business team in producing appropriate feasibility studies for Land (UK) to become operationally world class to allow growth in line with business objectives
  • Central maintenance support ownership, driving SAP improvements, CMMS improvements, managing the RCM programme within Land UK
  • Supporting equipment modification to enable new process introduction and creating test methods to assess products in large-scale production lines, ensuring compliance with the finished product specifications whilst investigating alternative process parameters to improve efficiency, quality and costs using digital solutions

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • A good knowledge and understanding of digital solutions within a manufacturing environment
  • Leading and working with teams across a multi project matrix organisation.

Desirable:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification within a relevant engineering discipline

The Project Engineer team:

As a Project Engineer, you will be a part of an exciting opportunity to be working with new technologies in order to drive Manufacturing Technology solutions in all Land UK business units.

You will work within the Operations community covering all Land (UK) sites to support in designing a fully integrated end-to-end production system / solution in line with our digital connected vision.
