Be part of the design and manufacture process of bespoke solutions in the construction industry with a focus around specialist design of mechanical equipment.


What you’ll be doing


As a Project Engineer, you will have the following accountabilities:

  • Help support the Senior Project Engineer
  • Manage projects from the concept design stage through to site installation
  • Actively participate in the design stage to ensure design meets the client requirement
  • Planning skills to identify major project risks early
  • Understand the relevant commercial terms and conditions for your project
  • Follow the Engineering Life Cycle process to ensure the correct documentation and approvals are in place for your project
  • Manage the customer relationship during delivery, including change and decision making to effectively manage expectations.

Who we’re looking for


You will have the following:

  • Previous Engineering experience, Electrical or Mechanical
  • A degree in relevant Engineer discipline (BEng, MEng, MSc)
  • Strong People Management
  • Commercial awareness
  • Good relationship management skills
  • Ability to work across conflicting interest groups to develop solutions.

Asset & Technology Solutions - We proudly provide comprehensive plant, vehicle and equipment services to the Balfour Beatty Group in the UK. Our strategic asset services include in-house solutions such as HGVs, tower and crawler cranes, piling equipment, fire and security services, suction excavation, modular buildings and driver risk management. We are also responsible for the Site Mobilisation Hub which acts as a catalyst for ensuring all of our projects are mobilised with the right plant, fleet and equipment on time and that we always use our in-house services for best value.
