Project Engineer / Project Leader / Project Engineerrequired to join a leading manufacturer within the electrical/electronic industry.

The successful Project Engineer / Project Leader / Project Engineer will be responsible for the project management of various projects including Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS Systems), DC systems & modules, Inverter Systems, Converters and/or similar electrical/electronic engineering products & services.

The Project Engineer / Project Leader / Project Engineer must have an electrical engineering background in project management with electrical/electronic products such as Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS Systems), generators, switchgear, critical power equipment or similar electrical/electronic engineering equipment.

Package

£40,000-£45,000 depending on experience

Project Engineer / Project Leader / Project Engineer Role

Managing electrical/electronic engineering projects from handover through to final completion.

Responsible for the project management on various projects including Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS Systems), DC systems & modules, Inverter Systems, Converters and/or similar electrical/electronic engineering products & services.

The Project Manager will own the entire Project delivery relationship with important clients and through high level, highly proactive engagement will be constantly alert to opportunities to develop, improve and maintain that relationship.

Managing the Project technical aspects to meet the contract and client quality expectations, controlling scope creep, obtaining drawing, RAMS and quality check approval, compiling Snag Lists and managing to full resolutions.

Managing the Project Timelines: for products, services, documentation, and quality to achieve on time completion.

Perform consulting services at customer sites as well as over the phone.

Continually searching for ways to improve business, upgrade existing processes, deploy new initiatives, and recommend new solutions based on analysis and client trends.

Liaise with various engineering departments.

Project Engineer / Electrical Project Manager / Project Engineer Requirements

Proven Electrical/electronic Industry Experience Required.

Detailed knowledge of UPS Systems, uninterruptible power supplies, critical power, LV switchgear, MV switchgear, transformers, generators, or similar electrical engineering products.

Experience as a Project Manager, Project Engineer, Product Manager, Programme Manager, Applications Engineer, Project Leader, Electrical Project Manager, UPS Engineer or similar.

Practical knowledge of current Design and Management (CDM) regulation is beneficial.

A technical mechanical / electrical / electronic qualification, apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree, MP Certification, CAPM or Prince 2 is advantageous.

Commutable to Alloa or willing to travel.

Full UK driving license.
