We have a fantastic opportunity available at Bouygues UK for a Project Controls & Compliance Managerto work on the Pentre Awel health & wellbeing project inLlanelli, West Wales.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in document control who is interested in working on an exciting construction project. The first phase of the project is £87M and will include a leisure centre, research building and sports hall. We are placing a strong emphasis on social value, ensuring that local people and businesses can reap the benefits of the scheme.

Role Responsibilities:

  • To ensure the project information requirements are in place, updated and the project team are implementing activities in a timely manner for a successful handover.
  • To undertake the monitoring and support the operation team in updating key documents in a timely manner.
  • Provide administration support and advice, which will include input at all the following phases of the Pentre Awel project: tender, construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance and handover.
  • Provide relevant guidance, use of suitable templates & checklists and arrange for learning when required.
  • Interrogate project contract documents, specifications and management plans and produce monitoring trackers for implementation and review, always ensuring compliance.
  • Regular review of all management plans (project management plan, quality plan, safety plan, environmental plan, carbon reduction plan) and update as required.
  • Clearly identify all project KPIs and monitor performance.
  • Establish inspection trackers for countdown to handover in conjunction with the Planning manager interfacing suitable forms within Fieldview.

Criteria:

  • Document control experience
  • IT literate in Microsoft Office
  • Effective communication skills

Training will be provided to upskill the successful candidate on company procedures.
