Project Accountant £45k-£50k - Redditch

The Company

We are pleased to be supporting a thriving and successful business located in Redditch. Due to further exciting expansion the company has restructured and as result there is a completely new role of Project Accountant now available.

Duties

Reporting to the Financial Controller the role of Project Accountant will have responsibility for the finance on the multiple projects and revenues within the business

Duties include:

  • Carefully monitor projects for correct revenues, profitability and cost.
  • Produce project forecasts
  • Track accuracy of project related items as impacts the Balance Sheet
  • Produce accurate calculations for commissions and rebates
  • Work with Sales Team to ensure sales pricing is correct

Person Specification

  • ACMA/ACCA/ACA qualified
  • Exposure to project accounting would be helpful but not essential
  • Solid management and financial accounting skills
  • Strong Excel user able to manipulate and present data effectively
