Sheridan Maine are working in partnership with a division of a leading Plc to recruit a Finance Business Partner, initially on a 12 month contract basis.

Reporting to the Head of Finance this will be a highly visible role to analyse and report on the financial performance of a number of key contracts and will require extensive business partnering with contract managers and delivery directors. You will play a key role in improving the impact of financial reporting on contract performance as well as interpreting financial information to aid decision support. Other key tasks will include acting as financial lead on new tendering activities and support other ad hoc commercial activities.

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a strong level of experience of business partnering with non- financial managers and stakeholders. The proven ability to improve the quality of reporting information and experience of long term contract/project accounting are both advantageous to make an immediate impact in the role.

The client is seeking someone who is available to start immediately or who is on a very short notice.
