Morrison Telecom Services is seeking an experienced and dynamic Project/Programme Manager to join our team in Gillingham, Kent. As a key member of our organisation, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects and programmes, particularly focusing on your ability to utilise CEMAR, strong communication skills, and proficient project planning capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Utilise CEMAR (Contract Event Management and Reporting) software to efficiently manage project documentation, track contractual obligations, and monitor project performance.
- Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of projects/programmes within allocated budgets and timelines.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure clear communication of project goals, deliverables, and progress updates.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, outlining tasks, milestones, resource allocation, and timelines.
- Identify potential risks, challenges, and roadblocks in project execution and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members to facilitate smooth project delivery and satisfaction.
- Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and financial forecasts to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide regular project status updates, performance reports, and presentations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Lead, motivate, and manage project teams, ensuring that each member understands their roles, responsibilities, and objectives.
- Continuously evaluate project processes and outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
- PMP or PgMP certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Project/Programme Manager, ideally within the telecom or construction industry.
- Proficiency in using CEMAR software to manage contractual aspects of projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address project challenges and drive solutions.
- Exceptional organizational skills to develop and maintain detailed project plans.
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
