Are you a Programme Manager looking for your next move?

We are currently looking to hire a Programme Manager to join Legal and General Group Technology. This is a fantastic role where you’ll be end to end responsibility for driving and delivering large and complex change programmes

Group Technology delivers shared infrastructure and cloud services as well as being the Service Integrator for the Legal & General group. This role will be focused on major infrastructure, cloud, and service-based change.

  • Having end to end responsibility for driving and delivering large and complex change programmes, engaging with leadership and other business and technology stakeholders in order to shape, define and deliver change programmes
  • Driving end to end execution of projects and be present in all fundamentals of the life of a project
  • Engaging project sponsors, stakeholders and the Project Management Office to drive delivery of complex technology delivery programmes and Influence senior stakeholders
  • Driving the management of capacity, availability, problem management, change management and knowledge management activities within the team
  • Managing the relevant Project Management processes and systems to ensure a consistent and high level of Project Management service that means customers’ expectations are met
  • Build, maintain an role-model effective, positive working relationships with all levels of our Third Party Service providers and the wider IT communities
  • For this role you’ll have strong experience of Project Management methodologies including Waterfall and Agile and the appropriate application of these methods
  • You’ll be able to demonstrate core skills resulting from project management experience including communications capabilities, decision making and problem-solving skills, lateral thinking, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Exposure to experiencing positive, challenging interactions with Senior Executives across the businesses and a desire to increase that exposure as Projects becoming larger and more complex
  • You’ll also demonstrate exposure to financial/analytical activities and being able to contextualise financial data to support the viability of Projects
  • It is key that you have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels across the Group
