Job Description

Lead New Product Introduction of Turbochargers for GTX IAM and for OES. Ensure that all milestones are met, budgets and quality targets achieved. Plan and manage the development and industrialization of new remanufacturing processes. Work closely with engineering and ISC functions to document new process steps.

Business Planning perform business planning and budgeting for division. Activities include the review of historical data, determining the activities for year and forecasting the resources require.

Plan and follow list of NPI applications. Activity requires close work with site engineering and supply chain to understand tooling and material requirements needed to launch successfully. Engineers on new products are likely be based overseas which requires need for clear communication skills. Additional management of intercompany could be added once candidate is proficient in processes.

Manage implementation of new remanufacturing methods and processes. There is a standard NPI process, the steps of which needed to be followed and checked. Changes to process are welcomed if improvements can be suggested.

Communicate and meet with OES Customers. Today we only have a few such customers, but they demand more attention and preparation to ensure meetings run smoothly.

Report status to leadership. Weekly in 1:1 + Tier meeting / monthly in Leadership review.

You Must Have
  • Higher education post A levels - not necessarily degree but HNC/HND equivalent
We Value
  • 5 years engineering experience or 5 years program management experience
  • Manufacturing processes experience
  • Turbocharger function knowledge is an advantage

Organization

The Garrett Motion Aftermarket team manages the company’s Aftermarket business, selling turbochargers t o Original Equipment Suppliers (OES) and Independent Aftermarket channels. The Aftermarket organization also incorporates Garrett’s Performance, Motorsports and Thermal business lines. It focuses on Distribution channel management, launch of new products and expanding the business into new segments.
