GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a vastly successful, innovative engineering company in Kidderminster, that has a new and exciting manufacturing facility onsite. We are recruiting for a Production Line Team Leader with drive, energy, and enthusiasm to support an exciting new contract within the business. The product is set for launch in early 2023 but we are looking to appoint a suitable Team Leader prior to this to contribute to preliminary builds, operator recruitment, training, and the commissioning of the production facility We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor/Team Leader who can demonstrate a background in dealing with production operations in a factory environment, who can confidently supervise the development of the assembly process. A background engine assembly is required. Production Line Team Leader main duties:-Initially supporting development of the assembly processes
  • Recruiting, training, and supporting operators
  • Line supervision of the production cell operators
  • Assisting the management team planning
  • Focus on meeting line output targets and deliveries
  • Assisting the management team to evaluate processes and performance
  • Providing cover for Test & Logistics team members
  • Contribute to the constant improvement philosophy at QM
  • implementing and maintaining 5S Production Line Team Leader required skills and experience:
  • Ability to take a leading role as an integral part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Outstanding organisational skills.
  • Experience in dealing with production operations in a factory environment
  • Ability to coordinate and supervise production line tasks.
  • Experience of adherence to operational, quality and safety processes

Working hours are Monday - Friday with an early finish on a Friday of 12:30pm. You will be offered a salary up to £32,000 which will be commensurate with experience, plus additional company benefits.
