Acorn by Synergie is searching for a Production Planner to join their client based in Widnes on an initial 6 month contract.



As a proactive member of the manufacturing team, the purpose of the role is to ensure the plant operates safely according to prescribed processes and procedures whilst ensuring the product orders are completed on time and in full.

Duties will include:

  • Release production batches to Shift production manager via SAP
  • Monitor issuing and execution of batch card system via SAP
  • Monitor and raise batch variances to Shift Managers for investigation.
  • Input production data from batch cards to SAP production reporting process and MS Excel
  • Train above processes to shift production managers and operating teams

Previous experience within a similar role is ESSENTIAL. Chemical process experience working within a chemical batch manufacturing environment. Must be a confident communicator with previous experience of SAP a necessity. Experience of Microsoft Excel and a strong team work ethic required.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8am-4pm
