Senior Site Service Engineer (Plant/HGV/Vans) - Newport, South Wales

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting on behalf of their client for an experienced and motivated Senior Site Service Engineer based at Newport.

With a proven track record of more than 25 years working in the Environmental service, Steelworks, Scrap Processing & Road Haulage sectors, they are a trusted partner in industry. The Senior Site Services Engineer will have gained knowledge & experience of working in a similar environment, and working with construction plant, HGVs and commercial vehicles.



Key attributes

  • Fully skilled in all aspects of repairs and maintenance
  • Ability to work to a high standard both independently and as part of a multi-disciplined team within a busy workshop environment
  • Complete job cards with accurate detail of work completed
  • Demonstrate a positive safety culture at all times
  • Work effectively as a member of the team
  • Promoting high levels of customer service and professionalism at all times


Requirements:

  • Recognised apprenticeship
  • Full driving licence


Package:

  • 40 hours per Week - Monday to Friday
  • Overtime and weekend work may be required
  • Rate of pay £18.50 - £20.00 per hour
  • Introductory Bonus - £500.00
  • Further bonus after successful probationary period - £500
  • Company van
  • Auto enrolled onto the company pension scheme
  • 28 days holiday per year inclusive of Bank holidays

The successful candidate will be subject to our induction process that will include drug & alcohol testing.
