Our client is an experienced specialist in manufacturing and installing the highest quality windows, doors and conservatories for homeowners and housebuilders across the Midlands and beyond is looking for a highly organised person who is a good communicator via email and phone to process our customer call off orders. Organise and schedule the production runs based on 130 windows per day capacity output on a rolling 4 week planning schedule. Communicate with site managers to confirm plots are ready to receive the installation of windows and plan production schedules to enable fitting inline with our customers build schedules. We operate a just in time production schedule for door and window manufacturing so good planning is critical. Must be a good Communicator with the ability to build good rapport and relationships with our customer, be well organised with the ability to think quickly as the planning can change due to site conditions and readiness. Office based planning role to plan the weekly production. Duties include.-Monitoring the call off emails and responding accordingly
  • Filtering cavity closure and final check requests to the required teams.
  • Communicating with sites to ensure readiness and plan schedules accordingly.
  • Workout window quantities from schedules for called of plots.
  • Populate the production schedules in line with capacity outputs based on the business
  • Book in site surveys for specials that require measuring
  • Populate Evonet in house software with relevant details based on the planning
  • Upload the planning history onto evonet to maintain a record for future information.
  • Work closely with the production processing team
  • Assist with ordering specials like Bi fold doors, composite doors in line with the quotation.
  • Attend weekly planning/production meetings Experience of the new house building an advantage Must be office based. Working days and hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30 - 5 pm, Friday 8.30 am - 4.30 pm with 1 hour lunch
