THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking experienced Production Operatives to work within our fast paced, high volume manufacturing facility. We expect you to be able to work at pace, to be punctual, reliable and hardworking. The role is based on a temp to perm contract and comes with excellent overtime prospects. The organisation in question is an instantly recognisable employer in the Consett area. We are seeking candidates who are immediately available to start and attend an induction at short notice.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE?

Undertaking line-based duties

Working at pace and maintaining levels of accuracy

Machine minding and quality checking - delivering 1st off inspection

Aiding packing and despatch

Abiding by strict levels of H&S

WHAT EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION?

Previous factory/manufacturing experience would be beneficial

Must have a good work ethic, reliability and “can do” attitude

Must be flexible to work shifts and undertake a range of duties

Due to the unsocial nature of shifts, it may prove beneficial to have their own transport

WHAT ARE THE FINER DETAILS OF YOUR ROLE?

This role centres on a 3-shift system, working days, backs & nights. The hours of work are 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am. The role comes with readily available overtime paid at enhanced rates.

What Salary Package You Will Be Receiving

This position centres on a 37.5-hour week and pays £8.91 per hour.
