Production Operatives - Ripley x10

Our well-established client who are based in Ripley are well-known for their beautifully made hand-decorated kitchen and tableware.
They are looking for numerous Production Operatives to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis. Majority of the roles will become permanent for the right candidates.

PAY- £10.20 p/h (paid weekly)
HOURS:
Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm
AND
Friday - 8:00am-13:00pm

THE ROLE
  • Working within the main factory hand crafting, and decorating clay and pottery items.
  • Completing relevant paperwork.
  • Loading and unloading delicate products in and out of a Kiln (oven), this can be a manual task.
  • Quality checking of all pottery items, this will be the final stage before shipment
  • Ensuring all stock is stored correctly so that the correct items are picked for orders.

IDEAL CANDIDATE
  • Is happy to conduct a repetitive role throughout their shift
  • Has experience working within a similar manufacturing environment
  • Is organised and can use their initiative
  • Is able to communicate with colleagues effectively, can work well individually and as part of a team
  • Has a keen eye for detail
  • Is enthusiastic and has a can-do attitude.

THE COMMUTE
The site is easily accessible by car if you do drive and by public transport if you do not. The site is located within a short walking distance from bus routes to Alfreton, Derby city centre, and more.
