Purpose of the role

As a Production Operative you will have the ability to understand and adhere to food hygiene procedures. Comply with company policies and procedures and be able to follow instructions as directed by Section Manager or other members of the management team. You will adhere to health and safety at all times and follow all tasks in line with food safety rules.

Key Responsibilities Will Include
  • Wearing the required and correct PPE at all times
  • Cleaning equipment and modules on a rotation schedule
  • Trussing chickens ready for film wrapping
  • Supplying the line with raw material
  • Grading quality of chickens
  • Loading of trailers
  • Monitoring the water plant and FDS plant
What We Are Looking For
  • Good level of English and basic numeracy skills
  • The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively
  • Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks
  • Experience within a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
Working Hours

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 06:30 – 12:00 (20 hours per week)

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 12:00 – 17:30 (20 hours per week)

Monday to Friday 10:00 – 15:00 (22.5 hours per week)
