Production Operative Our client based in Swadlincote are looking to recruit a number of Assemblers to be trained into Machine Operators on a 12-week temp-to-perm basis. You will work as part of a team manufacturing wooden construction products. Main duties:-Assembly
  • Ensuring quality and safety
  • Using machinery
  • Assist in general plant support
  • Operating basic cutting machinery Production Operative
  • Additional details
  • The suitable candidate will have previous assembly, production, labouring or manufacturing experience, be comfortable in the usage of hand tools, air guns and be able to work within a busy warehouse/factory environment. Training is provided.

  • Hours We have vacancies on morning or afternoon shifts (fixed shifts)
  • Monday to Friday 06:00am-02:45pm (mornings) 40-hours paid
  • Monday to Friday 3:00pm-11:00pm (afternoons) 40-hours paid Production Operative
  • Benefits
  • £11.60-£13.10 p/h Standard hours (pay rate depends on experience)
  • Overtime rates paid at: 1.25x rate Mon-Fri 1 .5x rate Sat 2.0x rate Sun
  • Pay grades are as follows:
  • £11.60
  • £12.35
  • £13.10 ***The Company offers a rapid training program in order to upskill and allow you to move quickly to the higher and highest pay rate***
  • Plenty of overtime available
