Absolute Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Production Operative to join one of their well established clients based in Middlewich. Due to company growth our client is looking to expand their team with a permanent position on offer for the right candidate.

MAIN PURPOSES OF THE JOB:

To blend chemical products in line with established “recipes” and a prescribed production plan. Pass finished goods to warehouse team by an agreed date and time to add to stock or complete a customer order as specified in the Batch Manufacture Record (BMR).

  • Review BMR to determine plant and materials required.
  • Check production vessels to avoid cross contamination.
  • Check that mixing vessels and equipment are available, operational and clean.
  • Ensure shift partner is aware of vessels status & inlet/outlet via shift handover book to avoid cross contamination.
  • Select correct raw materials from stock as described on BMR.
  • Charge vessels with raw materials as directed on BMR.
  • Fill countdown labels
  • Monitor progress of blending process until complete as stated on BMR, turn off mixers at correct time and take sample for QC test.
  • Decant finished product into bulk containers as described on the BMR.
  • Follow Company Health & Safety Policy, procedures and guidelines.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

· Current counterbalance FLT licence.

· Competent in use of all production equipment (training will be given)

· Physically capable of manually handling raw materials, finished products and heavy equipment.

· Skilled in the use of lifting equipment for heavy drums.

· Basic computer skills.

· Ability to work to established procedures.

· Team player.

· Ability to multi-task.

· Health and safety knowledge.

WORKING HOURS:

Monday – Thursday 8am - 4pm

Monday – Friday 8am – 3pm

No weekends
