Job description Production Operative, Peterlee Peterlee, County Durham Continental Shifts-2 days, 2 nights 4 days off £12.85 per hour A high amount of overtime available after 11.67 hours paid at: Time & One Half - £14.28 (After 11.67 hours Monday
  • Friday & All-day Saturday) Double Time - £19.04 (Sundays and Bank Holidays) Our client is a dynamic Global electronics automotive supplier, producing safety critical components to the world’s leading vehicle manufactures. These components and products include, driver assist cameras, steering & air bag systems, electronic braking, sensors, and radar. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Operate high tech PCB production line equipment Achieving daily production targets Manufacture products to high standard Diagnosing of problems and ensuring timely resolution Recording of all defects & scrap (waste management) Ensuring adherence to quality systems and procedures Maintain good housekeeping and 5S activities Participate in OE / Six Sigma / T.P.M. team activitiesRequirements: Experience of working in a production or manufacturing environment Ability to carry out tasks and functions as requested by Group Leaders Understand the importance of working as a team to achieve productivity standards Strong organisation skills and being able to work flexibly and to deadlines Understand the importance of Health & Safety Be able to work a continental shift pattern 2 days (06:50am
