Location: Washington-Multiple Sites Contract: Temporary to Permanent
  • Perm contract after 12 weeks
  • Guaranteed Experience: The role is open to applicants who have limited experience but warehouse experience is desirable. Great development programme, coaching/mentoring, Including full Forklift Truck training programme. Pay: Dayshift - £10.00ph Backshift - £11.50ph Overtime throughout the week & a saturday - £15.00ph Overtime on a Sunday - £20.00phShifts: Day shift

  • Monday to Friday (Time range from 16:20pm
  • 01:08am)(Please note, shift times will vary depending on site & what line you are working on. This will be discussed in detail at point of induction) Hours of work: Standard guaranteed 39 hours working on a rotating shift system, anything after kicks in as overtime. Duties: These exciting positions are to work within the logistics and warehousing support teams on key projects, storage, control and management for the client production lines and internal fulfilment of the client product. Picking and Packing Dispatching Quality Inspection or parts and components Reworking and light assembly of parts Palletising crate assembly Booking items on to computerised stock control systems Palletising or decanting and loading of boxes and stillages Operating Forklift Trucks (licence not required as full training is provided)Key Accountabilities specific to this role: Achieve targets and job standards as set out by Team Leader/Supervisor To use Warehouse Management Systems and other IT to process customer requirements Understand current task processes and relevant SLAs applied to regular services Assisting with stock taking/remapping and other accuracy related tasks. Operating best practice to support 5S and contributing to improvement activities Provide regular progress updates to assigned Team Leader/Supervisor Carry out tasks/functions as directed, following Standard Operating Procedures at all times Assist and be part of continuously considering improvements to processes and procedures to enhance and streamline business activity Maintain efficient and effective time management and planning processes To ensure the companies Health and Safety policy is adhered toPerson Specification: The role is open to all applicants of varying levels of experience as training and development will be provided. Experience of operating a Forklift Truck (inhouse or otherwise) is an advantage but not essential Understand the importance of working as a team Be professional and possess a polite and positive attitude Ability to interpret and balance a variety of feedback Strong organisation skills and being able to work flexibly and to deadlines Understand the importance of Health & SafetyHolidays: 25 Days a year accrued, plus bank holidays Benefits: Excellent public transport links, Great development programme, training and mentoring.
