This vacancy is for additional Production Operatives to join our Extrusion and Lamination Production teams based in Denby, near Ripley. The prime purpose of this role is to operate the PVCu extrusion lines safely and efficiently, at the highest quality standards. The job roles and responsibilities of the Production Operative include: Quality inspection Heavy lifting/pulling/pushing (up to 25KG) Packing and wrapping Labelling Loading General warehouse maintenance.Key skills required for the role of Production Operative: Attention to detail Working as part of a team Willingness to take on new tasks.In addition to our standard new starter induction with Health & Safety and HR, as a Production Operative you will receive a departmental induction and full introduction and training on your tasks and responsibilities. Protective and safety clothing provided, together with full uniform on successful completion of training period. As a Production Operative your progress will be periodically reviewed and tracked against the operator levels by our in-house trainers and guidance given on areas for improvement.
