A specialist manufacturing business based near Coventry is on the look out for a Production Manager to assist the senior management team in ensuring that all manufacturing runs smoothly and efficiently enabling the business to fulfil its global customer base.

You will work cross functionally with all departments ensuring that all processes, procedures, and guidelines are followed in a safe and efficient manager to ensure a high-quality product is produced.

Some duties as the Production Manager

  • Ensure all Health and Safety standards are always adhered to
  • Lead, develop, support a manufacturing team to ensure you have a motivated and efficient workforce
  • Holds daily shopfloor meetings, communicating targets, issues WIP etc
  • Ensure material availability matches production plans
  • Set production targets for the teams to meet
  • Work with the senior leadership team and report all production data to them.
  • Lead the site Continuous Improvement for the site

To be successful as the Production Manager you will need:

  • To have worked in roles such as Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Operations Manager in a manufacturing business.
  • Ability to hire, lead and motivate a workforce
  • Experience in and knowledge of continuous Improvement
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Software knowledge such as ERP/MRP
  • Ability to analyse data
