Conventional Machinist / Rowley Regis / Temp to Perm / 10.00 per hour

We are currently recruiting for a Conventional Machinist / Senior Production Operative to join a manufacturing company based in Rowley Regis.

This position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced candidate to join a large well-established manufacturing company, operating various machines as and when required. Ideally, you will be experienced with setting and operating various machines, including lathes, millers, drillers and more.

The skills and experience required for this role include;

  • Turning down 200 components on the lathe
  • Setting and operator Bridgeport millers
  • Setting the cropper, cropping a 1000 parts
  • Drilling batches of tubes
  • Operating the bandsaw to cut steel to size

The shift pattern for this position would be straight days 8am - 5pm with a 2pm finish on Fridays. It is an on-going position with a view to a perm contract after a probationary period and the client is looking to get people started ASAP!
